What's for dinner?

Seems like not living at home is more of a challenge then I personally want to admit. My first year not living at home with mom and dad, and I miss it at every turn. Dad with his not-so-funny jokes, bro being annoying and playing his video games, and most of all my mom. She’s amazing in everyway, especially in the kitchen. I loved coming home to a warm cooked meal.

Everyday after school I’d go home knowing there’d be something delicious for dinner. I’m not much of a chef at all. I hate having to think about what to cook for dinner, and grocery shopping is the worse. It’s always packed with coupon clippers who love to chat it up with the cashiers.

Seems like just yesterday I was enjoying potligan and musaca (my favorites), and here I am tonight, eating hotdogs. What a sad sad day to not live at home.

Did anyone watch?

It seems like the Oscars aren’t an exception. No one watches award shows anymore.

Tickets anyone?

Once again Chicago has failed its Cub fans. It is almost impossible to get Cubs tickets, especially when you have class at 8:30 sharp, the first day they go on sale (which was Friday the 20th, of course!) And what are the chances that the official web site would actually provide a REAL opportunity to obtain these almost golden tickets?

Well that’s what they should be compared to. You have to be the luckiest of the luckiest to get tickets for opening day.

It looks like once again there will be the yearly tradition of wanting, but not getting. Looks like me and the girls will be watching the game from home, AGAIN!

Go Cubs!

I'm not that into blogging, but given its relevance one can't help but jump on the blogging bandwagon. So let's start off with something simple, I'm a huge baseball fan. And recently moving onto Addison, which overlooks Wrigley Field, has only sparked a much deeper appreciate for the Cubs.
